A taste of Africa

Hey readers, Amy here

I have lived most of my life in Africa, and I only think its fair I share some of my most favourite places to go!

Chobe National Park, Botswana

One of the hidden gems in dusty, hot Botswana is a little town called Kasane. Kasane boasts a variety of luxury game lodges, tourist activities and an abundance of African wildlife. If you're wanting to go bird watching, fishing, game driving, booze cruising or simply just have sundowners along a beautiful terrace by the river, Kasane is the place to be..
My number one tip, don't forget to pack mosquito repellent.

Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe

Not only is Victoria Falls one of the Seven Wonders of the World, it is also a great place to enjoy a action packed, adrenaline rushed, family holiday. There is plenty to do in Vic Falls, from riding elephants to white water rafting in the Victoria Falls rapids. The Boma restaurant is my number one recommendation in Vic Falls, it is a dining experience like no other. At the Boma you are welcomed with African dancers, followed by a delicious buffet (which can include eating a traditional mopane worm!), an interactive drumming session and a dance party to finish the night off..

Kruger National Park, South Africa

Although South Africa is considered one of the most civilised countries on the continent, it is still famously known for its national park that boasts a variety of wildlife.. Kruger is a good destination for a long weekend getaway, camping under the stars or staying in a luxury cabin..

Cape Town, South Africa

Cape Town is in my opinion, one of the most beautiful cities in South Africa. You will never be bored in this magnificent place. Home to the famous Table Mountain, Robben Island, and V&A Waterfront there is plenty to do.. Jump on the big red buses to take a tour of the city by day, and lounge at one of the fish restaurants by the waterfront by night...

Africa has so much to offer, and it is definitely one to add to the travel bucket list....
